AMDG Systems (“we,” “us”) operates the Community Organizer volunteer-scheduling service, which may send text-message (SMS) and/or email notifications to recipients who have opted in. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact details you provide: your name, email address, and (if you opt in to SMS) mobile phone number.
- Service-specific data: your volunteer commitments and schedule preferences.
- Opt-in records: the time and method by which you confirmed your subscription to text messages, retained as evidence of consent.
- Operational logs: minimal access logs (timestamp, IP address, request path) retained for security and debugging.
How we use this information
- To deliver the notifications you have opted in to.
- To process opt-out requests and STOP/HELP keywords.
- To respond to support questions you send us.
- To maintain the security and reliability of the service.
How we share it
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing. Service providers we use to operate the platform (for example, the SMS carrier that actually delivers your text messages and the cloud provider that hosts the application) process the minimum data necessary on our behalf and are bound by their own contractual obligations. We may disclose information when required by law.
Retention
Contact details and opt-in records are retained while you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward to honor opt-out requests and meet legal obligations. You can request earlier deletion by emailing us; see “Your choices” below.
Your choices
- Opt out of SMS: reply STOP to any message at any time. Opt-out is processed immediately and the recipient is removed from the active SMS list.
- Help: reply HELP to any message for contact information, or email us directly.
- Access, correction, deletion: email contact@amdgs.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use cookies, analytics, or third-party trackers. The application at scheduler.amdg.io uses only a first-party session cookie required for sign-in; no advertising or analytics trackers are loaded.
Virginia residents
Virginia residents have rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about them, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email contact@amdgs.com.
Security
We take reasonable technical and administrative steps to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a material breach affecting your data, we will notify you in a manner consistent with applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Material changes to how we use your data will be communicated through the service.
